RECYCLING COTTON FABRIC

Recycling cotton fabric offers a viable solution to mitigate the environmental impact of textile waste. The recycling process typically involves collecting post-consumer or post-industrial cotton waste, such as discarded garments or textile scraps, and converting them into new usable fibers. Mechanical recycling methods shred and reprocess cotton fibers to produce recycled yarns, which can be used in various textile applications. Chemical recycling techniques, such as hydrothermal and enzymatic processes, break down cotton fibers into cellulose-based materials for the production of regenerated fibers
